Ethernal Bloom – Multidimensional Laser Cut Mandala | Yantrart × Holzgenuss
Created as an original collaboration between Yantrart Design and Holzgenuss, Ethernal Bloom is a multidimensional mandala artwork that merges sacred geometry, light, and functional design into a single immersive piece. Conceived as both visual art and ambient lighting, this work transforms space through depth, rhythm, and contemplative presence.
Measuring 60 x 80 cm, Ethernal Bloom is laser cut from ten meticulously layered sheets of MDF, forming a complex three-dimensional structure. Each layer is precisely cut and assembled to create depth, shadow, and spatial movement, allowing the artwork to shift subtly as light interacts with its surface. The result is a living composition that feels dynamic, architectural, and deeply intentional.
At the center of the piece unfolds a flower-like structure composed of detailed petal layers radiating outward in hypnotic rhythm. This central bloom acts as a visual metaphor for expansion, growth, and consciousness, inviting prolonged observation and introspection. Its organic flow contrasts and harmonizes with the surrounding geometry, creating a balanced dialogue between form and structure.
Encircling the core are four hexagonal panels, each embedded with intricate, lace-like patterns reminiscent of Islamic geometry and ancient architectural motifs. These outer elements introduce precision, repetition, and order, grounding the organic center within a coherent geometric frame. The interplay between the central bloom and the hexagonal perimeter gives the artwork a timeless, meditative quality that transcends trends.
